Einrichtungsprobleme von MySQL 3.23 auf Linux

Hi,

also der Prozess scheint nicht zu starten. Ich habe mal das Error-
Log unter /var/lib/mysql angeschaut. Dort steht:

/usr/sbin/mysqld: File './test-bin.index' not found (Errcode: 13)
030215 19:31:50  Could not use test-bin for logging (error 13)
030215 19:31:50  /usr/sbin/mysqld: Can't find file: './mysql/host.
frm' (errno: 13)
030215 19:31:50  mysqld ended

Sowohl in mysql in init.d als auch in my.conf sind die richtigen 
Pfade gesetzt.
