Hi,
Klar gibt es eine Konfigurationsdatei für MySQL. Ist jetzt nur die
> Frage, auf welchem Betriebsystem Du MySQL einsetzt.

Wenn ich es richtig sehe, greift .my.cnf ansonsten die
defaulteinstellungen auf Linux.

Ich wollte wissen, wieviel max connections möglich sind:
die Dokumentation sagt dazu:

If you get the error Too many connections when you try to connect to MySQL,
this means that there is already max_connections clients connected to the
mysqld server.

If you need more connections than the default (100), then you should restart
mysqld with a bigger value for the max_connections variable.

Die kann ich dann wohl nur mit der .my.cnf hochschrauben?
Oder ???


theoretisch jedenfalls.
Sind nur 256 MB auf dem Server. Da sollte man etwas schonend mit umgeben
