I have just installed MySQL on Win-NT = (Server) with Database "adresses" and a MySQL-Table. My Problem: I want connect from a second Win2000-computer (client) to = this database. I have read all MySQL-manual and tried to install a = client-connection, but it fails. Serverhostname: comput0 (netbios-name) Clienthostname: comput4 On comput4 I installed MyCC and tried connection with: Server: comput0 Name: MyName Password: MyPassword Name and Password are registered on the Server (mysql, user) What is wrong ? Can anybody help me.. I know this is peanuts...
