Vielleicht. Sablotron hat meiner Erinnerung nach nich das beste build-System. 
Bockt beim kompilieren gerne mal rum.

Welche PHP-Version hast Du eigentlich?

Ich habs mal auf der Kommandozeile getestet, hat geklappt, mit Sablot 0.97, an 
den XML-Dateien liegts also nicht:
$ sabcmd t.xsl t.xml
<html>
  <head>
    <title>ext/xslt TEST</title>
  </head>
  <body>
    <table border="1" cellpading="0">
      <tr>
        <th>Titel</th>
        <th>Kategorie</th>
      </tr>
    <tr>
        <td>Apache Webserver</td>
        <td>Linux</td>
      </tr>
  </table>
  </body>
</html>
