hab keine ahnung ob es hilft, weiss auch nicht ob das da passt oder eh klar ist, aber wenn du auf jpg ein transparentes bild speichern willst, muss das das jpg vorher erlauben:

ImageAlphaBlending($imgfile_neu,true);
