[php] [OT] Probleme mit SVN ignore

Hallo,

ich hab ein SVN Problem auf der Linux Bash, evt. hat hemand einen Tipp 
für mich. Ich will eine Datei ins ignore aufnehmen, allerdings scheint 
das nicht zu funktionieren:

svn propedit svn:ignore .

Dies führe ich im Verzeichnis der Datei aus, danach geht vim auf und ich 
schreibe den Dateinamen in eine Zeile:
database.config.php

Nun committe ich:
svn commit -m "new ignores added"

SVN meldet daraufh hin, es habe die properties committed.

So weit so gut, allerdings committed er später trotzdem die Datei, wenn 
ich in ihr  etwas ändere. :( Ignores mit grafischen Clients (etwa 
Eclipse oder auch KDESVN) funktionieren, nur auf der Bash will das Ganze 
nicht so recht.

Weiss jemand Rat?
