[php] Kennt hier niemand dieses Problem?

Das Problem besteht darin, dass sobald php4 als DSO-Modul
im httpd.conf des apache integriert wird, folgende Fehlermeldung beim
Start des apache erscheint:

Syntax error on line 207 of /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf:
Cannot load /usr/local/apache/libexec/libphp4.so into server:
/usr/local/apache/libexec/libphp4.so: undefined symbol: __mempcpy
./apachectl start: httpd could not be started

Installiert wurde wie folgt:

apache 1.3.19

./configure --prefix=/usr/local/apache --enable-module=so
make
make install

php 4.0.4pl1

./configure --with-mysql --with-apxs=/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs
make
make install

Dieses Problem tritt allerdings nur auf einem SuSE Linux 6.1 Server
auf. Auf anderen Rechnern lassen sich apache und php mit
o.g. Einstellungen problemlos installieren.

Weiss hier wirklich niemand woran das liegen kann?
