[php] phpMyAdmin

hi,

habe probleme mit dem phpMyAdmin.
mache nun seit 2 tagen an dem ding rum. ergebnis ist:

Fatal error: Call to unsupported or undefined function mysql_connect() in
lib.inc.php3 on line 121

muss leider mysql und php unter win98 und pws fahren, da es kundes wille
ist.

ich denke es wird nachfolgenden 2 punkten liegen.

$cfgServers[1]['stduser'] = 'root';   // MySQL standard user (only needed
with advanced auth)
$cfgServers[1]['stdpass'] = '';       // MySQL standard password (only
needed with advanced auth)

egal was ich hier eintrage ich bekomme obige fehlermeldung.
ich hoffe auf eure hilfe bzw. hilfe auf detailliertere docu.
