[php] sprintf

Hallo Liste,

ich brauche folgendes Format:

12.234,34 DM

Dazu will ich sprintf verwenden aber er klappt einfach nicht:

Funtioniert nicht:
sprintf("%d.3d,2f", $rows[max_preis])

Funktioniert (aber ist nicht das was ich brauche):
sprintf("%01.2f", $rows[max_preis])

Kann mir jemand helfen ??
