[php] 1/2 OT: MYSQL - Too many connections

Hi,

bei meinem Provider (virtueller Server auf P300) bekomme ich jetzt sehr
häufig einen
"Too many connections - Unable to connect to SQL Server" Fehler.

Der Provider (Alabanza.com) meinte daraufhin:
"I have set up the number of connections 130. It is should be the
optimal number of connetions."

Ich benutze immer mysql_pconnect() .
Was kann ich/mein Provider da machen ?
