In PHP 3.0 waren es noch die genannten Funktionen, in PHP 4.0 gibt's die
COM-Pseudoklasse. Steht in Cutting Edge Applications im Buch.

Außerdem kam mit PHP 4.0 Support für DCOM und komplexere Objekte.
