I have the same problem with Win98 and CSV Vers. 4.02. The external program
starts but the connection does not close

Subject: [PHP-WIN] system(), exec() etc. do not output anything in PHP
4..0.x

(Windoze NT/2000 related - developers please read this)

'lo folx,

since I've installed 4.0.0 the functions which execute a command and give
back the output do not seem to
work properly anymore.

e.g. from 3.0.12 to 3.0.16 system("command") did output the last line of the
command's response...
from 4.0.0 on it does not !!!

PHP is running on WIN NT 4.0 with Option Pack 4/IIS 4 and ServicePack 6a
Same Problem with Windows 2000 /IIS 5 !

Has anyone made the same experience or can anyone provide a solution?

Thanx and bye

	Carsten Blees
